Enable the user to easily set the output file size and format type. As it stands theres a massive list of output formats, which for a novice users is very confusing

I disagree. This makes it easier for Novices. Find the device you want to copy it to, and the format is changed for the best viewing. I've seen other programs that have all of the possible settings, it gets confusing unless you are an expert at using them. This kind of setup is perfect for novices, and those not wanting to spend hours/days/weeks/years learning all of the small details that make a huge difference to the output.
