Have slow review of trim selection

Having selected a trim range (that is, by time), next I wish to choose a crop range (by area). At present, I can preview the resulting output at one or other of just two speeds: 'frame-step' and 'full steam ahead'. My suggestion is to allow variable intermediate speeds, or at least a couple of intermediate options, such as quarter-full-speed or half-full-speed.
